It's simple really: Claryssa Humennyj-Jameson, ISKA's principal photographer, has a love of life and it's that philosophy she brings to the camera.

A love of people, animals, places and things means she approaches each shot with an affection that translates into the best possible image of her subject.
Claryssa learned this early on through her Steiner School education which taught her a deep appreciation, respect and love of life.
Early experience as a model taught Claryssa the finer points of composition, light play and expression. It was not long before she realised her passion was behind the lens, more than in front.
Claryssa began her photographic career with one of Australia's most sought-after portrait and celebrity photographers, assisting and soon taking the camera herself, as her potential had quickly showed itself under the guidance and with the encouragement of mentors. Serendipitously, family friends in the music business began to recognise her talent and she quickly became a highly sought shooter for live band events and for musician and actor portraits.

Having experienced what creates a first class celebrity or model shoot, as well as capturing the split-second moments of live performance, she combined that knowledge with her love of life and innate instinct for the best possible shot to create wedding day albums of stunning originality, truth and beauty.
